Facebook: 2012 Advertising Report

Want The Facts on Facebook Advertising?

Then you should check out this infographic along with a report on Facebook Advertising from Social Fresh.

As with any new media, it can be difficult to determine what is or is not working.  It seems Social Fresh has put a strong step forward in creating a knowledge base of exactly how Facebook Ads are working.  Social Fresh tapped into its reader base as well as some significant players in the social media venue, including Buddy Media, Convince & Convert, Likeable Media, Webtrends, and BlitzLocal.  The net result was 347 Facebook advertisers completed the survey, which is a pretty good research sample.

I haven’t had a chance to read my copy of the report as I just received it.  But the Table of Contents outline all of the ad elements I want to know more about…such as creative, headline, ad lifespan, etc.

The infographic below does a pretty good job of presenting a few highlights.  I certainly hope to find more in the final report, but I was surprised to see that the lifespan of a Facebook ad was 14 days or less for 68% of the study participants.

Check out the infographic below and then visit Social Fresh to download a free copy of the Facebook Ad Report.
