If you’re a small business, you may want to ask yourself how you could be generate bottom line savings by turning to mobile apps.  Check out the article below.  I’ve also added a few additional articles that discuss some of the ways small business is cashing in on mobile apps.

As the apps market continues to grow, so do small business savings, finds a new report.

Apps are responsible for allowing small business owners to eliminate an estimated 725.3 million yearly employee hours, reports Bloomberg Business Week. That productivity increase yields $17.6 billion in annual savings.

Small businesses are increasingly reliant on mobile applications, an AT&T survey found last year. Almost three-fourths of small businesses—those with between two and 50 employees—reported using mobile apps to conduct business.

But before you go blaming apps for reduced employment: Apps have also created 466,000 jobs since 2007, according to a study by TechNet, a bipartisan policy-making organization design to promote technological innovation. –John McDermott
